The company was set up in the coastal city of Bhimavaram in Andhra Pradesh state - considered the capital/hub for farm raised aquaculture in India. Ananda hatchery is approved by CAA (Costal Aquaculture Authority, Govt. of India) to import SPF brood stock from Hawaii USA & Thailand for producing the best quality seedlings/Post Larvae(PL). Hatcheries are located in Kakinada & Bhimavaram in Andhra Pradesh state and Digha in the state of West Bengal under the assistance of World Bank funding. The farming is done in 100 acres of water spread area without the use of antibiotics in Bhimavaram region. The company's research and development team developed Probiotics to substitute antibiotics for maintaining the water quality during the complete culture period. The Feed Mills is also ideally located very close to the farming lands in Bhimavaram region. The premix of Vitamins & Minerals used in our feed mill is mostly imported from Trouw Nutrition of the Netherlands to produce highest quality feed for best growth patterns. The company's feed division is India's largest feed distributor for NASA/Blanca brand of C.P Group,Thailand and has been supplying to farmers since 20 years all over the country.
The state of the art processing plants in Bhimavaram is equipped with the most advanced machinery to process and freeze fish and fishery products having 2 IQF 4 Plate freezers 1 blast freezer and 3 peeling systems. The quality control Lab is installed with antibiotic testing machinery from Randox, U.K. The processing facility offers an exceptional array of Fresh, Frozen and Breaded Seafood products -with Shrimps & Prawns being the major varieties from both cultured and sea caught.
